Madison Yan

Madison Yan is a pianist based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a recent graduate of the University of Miami. A student of the internationally acclaimed pianist Kevin Kenner, she has cultivated an artistry that has been recognized on both national and international stages.

An active performer and award-winning pianist, Madison is a recipient of the prestigious National Chopin Foundation Scholarship. Her distinctions include first prize at the William Knabe International Piano Competition and top honors at both the International Chopin Competition in Hartford and the International Keyboard Odyssiad. As a semifinalist in the 11th National Chopin Competition in Miami and the 6th Delegate International Chopin Competition in Tokyo, she has performed alongside some of the most distinguished young pianists of her generation.

Madison has participated in masterclasses with world-renowned artists such as Maria João Pires, Robert McDonald, Dang Thai Son, Garrick Ohlsson, and Ewa PobÅ‚ocka—encounters that continue to enrich her musical voice.

Beyond the piano, she is a multifaceted artist who draws inspiration from writing, dance, and Taekwondo, pursuits that lend depth and vitality to her music. Currently performing, teaching, and preparing for major international competitions, Madison is devoted to refining her craft while steadily expanding her presence on the global stage.
